Panic disorder is a a condition that is characterized by repetitive panic attacks. The main symptom of panic disorder is panic attack which is a random wave of intense and overwhelming fear and anxiety that last for a few minutes to an hour.

Panic attacks are more frequent nowadays than we think. Panic disorder is an anxiety disorder characterized by recurring severe panic attacks. It may also include significant behavioral change lasting at least a month and ongoing worry about the implication or concern about having other attacks. Panic disorder is not the same as agoraphobia (the fear of having panic attacks, although many with panic disorder also suffer from agoraphobia.
