Natural treatment for anxiety disorder: that’s what so many people are looking for. If you are among this group, you came to the right place, because this article talks about a very effective, yet simple process for overcoming all your anxiety and panic issues, without having to risk becoming another addicted popper of poisonous pills. There is also no need for expensive therapy sessions for the next 10 years.

It is interesting to note that many people who have never had anxiety or panic problems in the past, are reporting sudden experiences with this in recent times. Of course, there are millions of others who have had to deal with these issues for most of their lives. Some of the symptoms include feelings of tightness in their chest area and real problems just trying to breathe. Others talk about not being comfortable in enclosed spaces, including large spaces like theaters and stores, plus problems from being out in public, in general.

A common experience is to have ones mind dominated by obsessive and often dark thoughts. Many people say it leads to feelings of fear of going insane. A lot of times, people report that during these episodes, there is no sense of connection to the events that are happening directly in front of them, as if they are there and not there at the same time.

If you can relate to any of this, or a lot of this, there is some really great news for you today. There is a method, a natural treatment for anxiety disorder that does not require you to take any dangerous and controversial drugs whatsoever. You will not have to deal with any of their frightening side effects.

You are familiar with those side effects if you watch television in the United States. They not only list physical health issues, but they talk about increasing suicide rates or the chances you could hurt another person. What doctor in her right mind prescribes these things? Most people don’t even get much help from them, in large part due to the way the human body develops tolerance to all drugs.

The one natural treatment for anxiety disorder that I am aware of that has a success rate close to one hundred percent is called, Panic Away. It’s more than a book. It has videos and audios programs, and lifetime coaching support via email.

The author and coach of this natural anxiety treatment program, Barry McDonough, had one of the most dramatic cases of panic attacks and general anxiety disorders that one can imagine. He says there were times he was so convinced he was dying, he was ready to say his last goodbyes.

These days he has no problem laughing at those moments, but it is easy for him, because he is so far removed from them. They were anything but funny at the time. After years of research and experimenting, he had an aha-moment that not only changed his life, but the lives of tens of thousands of grateful students.

Anxiety is a condition where you undergo constant worry and fear about various situations that shouldn’t actually bother you. It is when this constant fear and anxious state interferes with your work and family life, it is said that you suffer from General Anxiety Disorder.

When you suffer from phobias and fears in general, this is often a symptom of general anxiety. Some people worry excessively, giving themselves physical problems like nausea and diarrhea. The psychological effects are also severe, causing loss of sleep, nightmares, and a damaged self-image. People often make the mistake of treating the symptoms rather than the true cause of their general anxiety.

Anxiety is a very common problem and self help information is widely available. There are many ways to combat the effects of anxiety, some may be useful to an individual but some may not. It is advisable to find a method which is suitable for you.

Find out the trigger for your anxiety attack

The first thing you have to do to try and stop your anxiety problem is to find out what the trigger for anxiety may be. This is an evaluation form of exercise that you have to carry out to find what triggers your anxiety so that you can cure anxiety without using any drugs or medications.

Make a list of factors and circumstances that you know can cause an attack and review this list carefully afterwards. Consider each potential trigger on your list, and then rank them in order of priority. This will help you to determine what to address first.

There are many triggers that can trigger an anxiety attack like food, phobias, after effects of a traumatic experience and even fear. It is up to you to find out what triggers your anxiety in yourself.

How to avoid these triggers

Next, in order to solve your episode of anxiety, shun the things or circumstances that prompt your anxiety. If you feel it somewhat difficult to perform, you can also modify your diet. Excess amounts of caffeine in foods like energy drinks, coffee and aerated water will build up pressure and anxiety in your body since caffeine is known to excite panic attacks.

Introduce more liquids to your diet and avoid alcohol as it excites your brain. If you are hooked to alcohol, at least limit your consumption. Introduce a regular exercise regimen to your daily routine to act as an outlet to vent your stress and anxiety.

Practice meditation and yoga

Two very helpful methods to calm the mind and relax the body are meditation and yoga. One of the best ways to begin with reducing your stress and anxiety is to start with a good night’s rest: you have to get a minimum of seven hours sleep time every night.

In addition to all this, control your anger as it can trigger anxiety and exercise as much tolerance and patience in your actions and thoughts. It is very helpful in reducing anxiety levels and an important anxiety self help tip. Try all these anxiety self help tips and you are sure to find an immediate cure and control to your bouts of anxiety.

Although they are usually not very serious, panic attacks do have the potential to be a troubling, and even debilitating in some instances. There is usually no way to predict when an attack is going to happen or how severe it may be. Although they are usually unpredictable, they can generally be treated somewhat easily. If you or someone you know suffers from this condition you may be interested in some information.

Also known as an anxiety attack, a panic attack will manifest differently from individual to individual. It is typically defined as a sudden episode of emotion. These episodes will vary in severity and length. They are often mild, but can be very traumatic and debilitating. An attack can last anywhere from several seconds to several minutes. They can occur for no reason, but may also be caused by various types of triggers.

Panic attacks are fairly common. Sometimes, the attack is not even noticed or not intense enough to pay much attention too. Many people have them randomly and sporadically, only suffering from one or two attack in the course of their lifetime. For others less fortunate, they can occur much more often. This is usually a sign of the chronic condition known as a panic disorder. This disorder, once dismissed as merely nerves by the medical community, is now recognized as a real medical problem.

Generally, the impact of panic disorder is psychological. They have the potential to impact our social lives and our professional career. Some people may avoid certain social functions because of fear of an attack, or avoid an important business trip because a fear of flying may spur an episode. They can also be dangerous if they occur while driving a car, operating heavy machinery, or participating in some other dangerous activity. Cases this extreme are fairly rare, with most attacks being quite manageable and posing no physical threat.

There is not a universal cause of this issue, but there are many factors that may contribute to the problem. These include an individual’s genetics and family history of panic disorder, stress, diet, changes in brain function and other types of mental health issues. There are a variety of situations or events that can act as a trigger, causing an attack. A person’s attitude and disposition, along with the fear or panic over an upcoming event, can be things that cause one of these episodes.

The symptoms of an attack are usually both mental and physical. Mentally, the suffer will experience the sudden and sometimes intense onset of a particular emotion, often fear, guilt, depression, apprehension, or an impending sense of doom or dread. Physically, the symptoms usually include an increase in heart rate, sweating, trembling, shortness of breath and nausea. There may be other symptoms, as this issue manifests differently with different individuals.

Luckily, there are many ways to treat these issues. One of the most common methods of treatment comes in the form of psychotherapy. It is called cognitive behavior therapy, which is an effort to adjust thinking patterns and deal with triggers that cause these attacks. There are also many types of breathing techniques and other ideas to calm an individual down and sometimes prevent an attack before it occurs. A doctor or therapist may also recommend various types of medication to ease symptoms.

Panic disorders are usually not very serious and are generally very easy to control. In some cases, they can effect the individual’s life in an adverse way. They may prevent a person from doing something that they want to do and can be dangerous if they happen at a bad time. For this reason, an official diagnosis should be give by a qualified medical professional. After examining your problem specifically, the doctor can then recommend an appropriate method of treatment.

At some point in our lives, most people experience stress, fear, anxiety or all of these. Although those are normal reactions in the face of life threatening situations, some people experience them more frequently than others do. Most people will experience terror in the event of an assault, violent situation, motor vehicle collision or another similar situation, but others experience it when dealing with their normal day-to-day activities. This condition is known as panic disorder and manifests in panic attacks. These episodes are not life threatening, though they may be experienced as such by the sufferer.

It is a natural process to experience anxiety. This is the way your mind and body will defend themselves against dangerous circumstances. It is an instinctive response to anything threatening. Your body can overreact and this can result in panic attacks when there is no immediate danger or threat. In the western world, it is known that two out of three people are currently suffering from these affects. Treatment is not a requirement.

Most often, it is not necessary to seek treatment. Children and adults may suffer from this and it can impede the social life of the sufferer. If someone suffers from this then supportive family and friends can be of great value.

These episodes usually happen without warning or reason. Palpitations are one of the first signs that most sufferers experience. This is when the heart beats irregularly and fast. It may feel as though the heart has stopped or has missed a few beats. Numbness in the extremities, shaking and tremors are next to follow.

Things can seem very unreal to the person who suffers from these episodes. They may think that they are not real and it is common that they could feel like they may die during the episode. One of the overwhelming feelings they may have is the need to escape. In such an instance, they may become aggressive to anyone who is in the way or escape. These feelings are very real to the person suffering from it but may seem completely irrational to other people. When it is safe to do so then allow them to escape from their circumstances. It is an important key factor to distract them.

Sufferers of this condition will report that they feel they are dying during an attack. There is a sensation of feeling unreal at this point. Escape could be the only thing on the persons mind and aggression could be witnessed if it is evident that someone is trying to block the escape route. This emotion may seem illogical to witnesses of this attack, but is a vivid reality to the person experiencing this agitation. It is best to not stand in his or her way, while still being vigilant for his or her safety.

It has been reported that certain people that experience this will not want to go to school nor will they want to be around people. They may develop agoraphobia due to being scared of going back to places where symptoms were previously experienced, or places where it may recur. Agoraphobia is fear of open spaces such as airports and shopping malls. This is because there is nowhere to hide should there be an onset of an attack.

If panic attacks occur alongside other psychological or behavioral problems such as underachievement at school, sleep disturbances, depression or self-harm, it is time to call a mental health professional. Several behavioral therapies are helpful in treating the disorder and medications such as beta-blockers have been found to be helpful without causing harmful side effects. It is important not to take any medication unless prescribed by your healthcare provider, as it may contraindicate other conditions.

What anxiety cure will stop and prevent anxiety attacks quickly?

What anxiety cure will stop and prevent anxiety attacks quickly?

I started asking myself questions like this as I battled to keep control of my life and prevent the anxiety attacks.

If you have suffered anxiety attacks for any length of time you will fully appreciate how easy it is to become depressed and start to how a low opinion of yourself.

It would start off with me getting anxious about something. In work where I was a supervisor it became hard to do my job as I would let an impending situation build up inside my head and build momentum there.

Situations would arise such as having a meeting with an employee to inform them of their lack of work performance or time keeping and the possible confrontation would build in my mind.

This pre-empting what may happen would result in a physical change such as sweat, a heart that was now pounding and making me feel light headed, and a shear stabbing pain at the base of my spine.

This resulted in me changing the way I carried out my role, avoiding any possible confrontations or possible challenges to my instructions.

My own opinion of myself suffered and I became introverted in work which was not possible for my role in the business.

It became a downward spiral and it didn’t take very long for all my confidence in myself and my abilities to evaporate and the anxiety and panic attacks became worse physically.

As much as I wanted an anxiety cure today I still had it in my head that I didn’t want to become addicted or dependant upon any tablets or medication for the rest of my life.

At this desperate time I was lucky to meet a sales representative who’s mother had anxiety attacks for years before discovering a natural treatment.

The natural treatment had been discovered by Joe Barry who’s “one move technique” has cured 1000′s of people suffering from anxiety and panic attacks over the years.

When I did some research on the internet I discovered that the treatment he was referring to was called Panic Away by Joe Barry.

After some research it became apparent that there was a very high success rate and perhaps even more impressive was the huge number of genuine testimonials on his website.

I’m usually highly sceptical of most things but I was desperate for panic attack treatment, it had worked for his sister and the testimonials and site seemed genuine enough.

What’s more any purchase of this natural treatment was fully protected with a full money back guarantee which is a must on the internet.

Thankfully for me it worked. You cannot believe how much it has changed my life.

With rising confidence my life is now back in my control.

Is it the best anxiety cure? I don’t know, but I do know it gave me my life back and helped over 35,000 others before me.

Many people who suffer from panic attacks say that this is even worse than a heart attack. Panic symptoms in fact often closely mimic that of a heart attack. Let us briefly discuss the nature of panic attacks.

As mentioned before, these can be very similar to a heart attack. The patient will experience a rapid heart rate or heart palpitations. There will sometimes be chest pains and often you will feel as if you can’t breathe. Sufferers will often also experience numbness in certain parts of the body, hot flushes and muscle pains.

Some people sweat profusely when experiencing a panic attack. Others experience a complete lack of strength, a severe weakness in their arms and legs. Often the person getting an attack will feel that he’s going crazy or dying. Another common symptom is nausea or dizziness.

Panic attacks and depression are often closely linked together. Those suffering from panic attacks are prone to depression and also the other way round. Many people go through feelings of complete despair. Thinking of death is prevalent and suicide plans often take shape under these circumstances.

The causes of panic or anxiety attacks can be numerous. In a very large percentage of cases the exact cause is never established. In some cases it can be traced back to certain foods or beverages, such as drinking too much coffee or taking in too much sugar. Menopause and other hormonal imbalances can also sometimes contribute to panic attacks.

Attacks are sometimes triggered by a specific situation, such as being in a confined space, being exposed to great heights or being close to a large body of water. Very often people suffer from what is called general anxiety disorder, where even something mundane like watching television can trigger an attack.

There’s a large number of medications available on the market to alleviate panic attacks. Some examples are beta blockers, tranquilizers and the so-called benzodiazepines. When they feel that an attack is oncoming, many people start to experience the symptoms of an attack already. Some medications concentrate on relieving this ‘anticipatory’ panic, while others concentrate on providing relief for the actual attack.

When you realize that what you experience are panic symptoms, the important thing to understand is that it won’t kill you. What you experience is a malfunctioning of your body’s alarm system. It’s similar to a car alarm going off in an quiet car park with nobody near the car – there is no reason for you to feel this way, it has no basis in real life. Sit down, breathe deeply and regularly and wait for it to pass.

Those of you who suffer or know another person who suffers from anxiety or panic attacks may well have heard of a technique called Panic Away. However, you may not understand specifically what this program does. This training course is intended to allow you to do away with anxiety and stop panic attacks without using medicine.

Barry Joe McDonagh, a man who once suffered panic attacks and GAD, produced the Panic Away system to be a one-time remedy for those people suffering these afflictions. He advances the One Move Process that unlocks the psyche’s blind areas that lead to anxiety and panic. The process increases inner reserves against these blind areas to make one invulnerable to such episodes. In many situations, panic episodes are considerably lowered or might even be fully eliminated.

McDonagh’s approach shows a few signs and symptoms of people that might be going through GAD and panic attacks:

1. The sensation of experiencing a heart attack but afterwards realizing it is panic 2. Stressed thoughts that will not go away 3. Irrational fears like getting stuck in traffic or on a bridge 4. Worried and edgy in conditions that previously didn’t bring about panic 5. Feelings of going insane or losing command 6. Claustrophobia in public areas including movie theaters, shops, etc. 7. Fearfulness of stopping breathing whenever the chest tightens or breathing becomes difficult and irregular

The physical symptoms of panic episodes include:

1. Nervousness following hot flushes 2. Light headed spells 3. A feeling of being shut off to the rest of the world 4. Heart racing and prickling sensations 5. Total overpowering panic that pushes an individual over the edge 6. Shortness of breath or tightness in the chest and throat 7. Unwanted thoughts and concerns that linger obsessively

McDonagh explains exactly how a panic attack exhibits itself in a four-step progression that begins as anticipation prior to growing to be a full-blown panic and anxiety attack. The Panic Away method treats these signs or symptoms as psychological afflictions and leads mental activity to the forebrain, the brain’s rational center, when the impulsive mid-brain region gets pro-active in the course of a panic attack. This method provides the afflicted additional control over the psychological activity which is meant to stop anxiety and panic attacks from recurring.

This training course is obtainable as a download directly from McDonagh’s internet site. It also is available as an audio CD for emergency support and driving away panic and includes audio-visual presentations. The course is comparatively risk-free since it is sold with an eight-week guarantee for those who don’t feel the course is working for them.

The download training course will cost you around $67. McDonagh’s program normally costs $138, but you may get a $70 discount when you order from his site. Furthermore you receive a number of free add-ons such as audio books, coaching, discussion board entry and presentations. All in all, if you are suffering from panic attacks, you might want to take a look.

At some point in our lives we all experience some form of stress or anxiety. There are some people who find it much harder to control these feelings and will find themselves regularly having anxiety attacks. For people like this there are a number of things that they can do which can help not only to control anxiety attacks but prevent one happening.

In this article we offer a few tips on how to stop anxiety attacks before they start to take control of your life like they have in others.

Tip 1 – Know How To Control Your Breathing – As soon as you begin an attack about to happen you need to know how to control your breathing and ensure that you stop your mind focusing too much on the attack. As soon as you start to feel anxious or stressed then begin to breathe very deeply and slowly as this will help to relax your body. As well as being a very simple way of preventing anxiety attacks it is also one of the most effective.

Tip 2 – Remove Stimulants From Your Diet – By reducing the amount of caffeine or sugar you consume can have a very big effect on helping to stop attacks of this type. You need to be aware that your levels of alertness and arousal are much higher when an anxiety attack takes place and having too much caffeine in your diet only stimulates this more.

Tip 3 – You Need To Exercise – Many anxiety attack sufferers do not realize that by exercising regularly they will find that they are better able to prevent attacks taking place. When you have an anxiety attack your adrenaline and energy levels increase and exercise will help to bring these back down to a level that is more normal and so prevent the attack from getting any worse.

Plus as with the breathing technique exercise is ensuring that your mind is becoming focused on something else other than the attack.

If you are reading this article, you’ve probably arrived here due to the symptoms that are associated with panic attacks, for either yourself or a loved one. Regardless of who it’s for, treating your panic attacks naturally can certainly help out, especially when in combination with other forms of treatment that your doctor may have suggested.

It is very important that you do not diagnose your selves, nor that you ignore your doctor’s recommendations and suggestions. It is when you put all of these together in an equation that you will end up with the best results, reducing the frequency and significance of each attack gradually, to the point where they are almost nonexistent.

Obviously, the symptoms can range from one individual to another. Some people will experience all the known symptoms while others will only feel a few, or even one or two. Whatever the case, any of these symptoms are scary and can interfere with one’s life in various ways. And, if they are left untreated, they will only get worse.

So, it is up to you to help yourself. Of course, you can stay medicated for the rest of your life or you can improve your situation by using natural home remedies. For example, the ever popular yoga and meditation techniques have proven extremely helpful in situations with panic and anxiety attacks.

That is because these techniques help people to focus, relax, and push stress out of their lives. As you may have already figured out, while stress is not the actual cause of your panic attacks, it is definitely associated and likely the cause. Therefore, the calmer you are, the lower the risk of you having another attack and vice versa.

In addition to that, it is imperative that you start some kind of an exercise routine that you stick to. Whether that is walking for 30 minutes each day or boxing or even weight lifting. The best would be some kind of a cardio workout which will help to push away even more stress.

In addition to that, there should be a commitment to improve your diet. More often than not, it will not be the main cause of your frequent or in frequent attacks. However, your diet may be lacking balance which is very important in those who are suffering from this condition. Therefore, if you eat properly you will improve your hormonal balance, which can improve your situation.

Finally, your contentment will lead all the way to some habits that you may or may not have. For example, if you are a smoker and consume alcohol, you could be worsening your condition every time you light up or have a drink. The same is true about consuming too much sugar. Therefore, try to avoid these or at least decrease them as much as you can. All of these can be harmful even to healthy people that aren’t dealing with this condition, and are obviously worse for those affected by it. The problem with these substances is that they could result in more frequent and more intense attacks.

It is difficult to treat panic disorder, a form of anxiety disorder. Diagnoses could prove very challenging since the condition shares the same symptoms as other serious medical conditions. But, after a diagnosis is made, panic treatment options can be made available.

There are several different options of treatment. Deciding which could be the best option takes serious time spent on arriving at a decision. The option is based on the best recommendations of the doctor, on side effects profile of each treatment method, and the preference of the patient.

To serve as a guide, the following explains the general process:

First, patients have to meet the criteria for panic disorder outlined by the DSM-IV, a manual published by the APA pr American Psychiatric Association that is used by any psychiatric professional in making psychiatric diagnoses. Once the patient has been check for the symptoms and he meets the requirements, substance abuse will be rule out.

If he is found to be dependent on alcohol or any addictive substance, he will then be offered alcohol detoxification and maintenance program combined with reassessment of panic disorder. If, however, the patient shows no sign of substance addiction, he will be evaluated for his need for rapid treatment. If the patient however the patient needs rapid treatment, he will then undergo two therapies – short-term therapy with benzodiazepine, an anti-anxiety drug, and long-term therapy which could be a combination of medications and psychotherapies.

If immediate attention is not warranted, the patient may be offered with a choice of antidepressants or CBT or Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy which will last for at least 4 to 12 sessions or weeks.

During this period, patient will be continuously monitored for improvements and side effects of the drug being administered. At this juncture, the patient is assessed for his degree of normal functioning as well as the absence or presence of any lingering symptoms.

Once the patient finishes treatment, the doctor will offer continuous monitoring of symptoms and further treatment. First, a cocktail of drugs, usually antidepressants will be given for the next 6 months. During this period, patient may undergo medication withdrawal. Next, CBT may be resumed to ensure that any underlying psychological issues are resolved. Relapse will be then prevented by means of continuous follow-ups. Finally, patient will be administered with benzodiazepine (an optional treatment). If benzodiazepines proves ineffective, a therapy will replace it.

Other panic treatment options comprise of psychological therapies like exposure therapy, use of medications like MAOIs, SSRIs, tricyclic antidepressants, and SNRIS, self-help strategies, and alternative approaches.

Available panic treatment options are many. Check with your doctor whether your symptoms qualify for the use of any of your preferred treatment methods or check out my website to know more about panic attacks and panic disorder.
