Anxiety is a condition where you undergo constant worry and fear about various situations that shouldn’t actually bother you. It is when this constant fear and anxious state interferes with your work and family life, it is said that you suffer from General Anxiety Disorder.

It’s always an incredible shock to the system when someone experiences their first panic attack, as it appears out of nowhere. The first experience can be the most frightening, although this isn’t to say that the subsequent attacks aren’t any less frightening.

If you go to your doctor and explain that you’re suffering from panic and are looking for a way for overcoming panic attacks, they are more than likely to try to suppress the symptoms by writing a prescription for drugs. Doctors don’t have much time to spend with their patients and everyone likes a quick and easy fix, so out come the pills.
